Went to the fish store.

Went on down to the lfs. Bought some salt (reef crystals) and they had a pistol shrimp in, got it for my ywg. not sure what kind it is but they paired up in 20 minutes. saw it digging a hole where the goby hangs out.

Looks like you've got a tiger pistol, which will pair with a lot of different gobies. Congrats on the quick pairing; I bet your goby is happy

I've had my tiger for a couple years now, he was my very first reef inhabitant. He's been moved from the first reef I ever set up, a 14g nano, to a 30g, to a 65g, and finally into the 90g. He and his orange-spotted goby are a great little pair, we love them to bits. You're going to have lots of fun with your guys. I think when you pair a goby or a pistol, the two together are about ten times the fun of either one on its own.
