kole tang not looking good
woke up today and saw that my kole tang's is not looking good, is this some type of disease/parasite??
he's in my 210 display tank. all parameters are good, no ammonia, nitrite,or nitrates. 1.204 salinity.my temps a litle high at 85. he's in the tank with a blonde naso and a sailfin tang, coral beauty, dottyback, neon goby, and 2 eels |

that was the best pic I could get of him, he doesn't come out to the front much. wheen his tail is fully spread out, it looks shredded. I'm trying to get a better picture.

It looks like it could be an eel bite, especially since you say it happened over night. What kind of eels do you have and how big are they?
If it was an eel I wouldn't worry. The fish should heal up fine. Just be on the lookout for signs on infection. |

Do you mean your salinity is 1.024?
My KT got bit by my coral beauty, he died overnight, so keep an eye out. Try to give him Nori soaked in vitamins. |

it couldve been the eels, one is a jap dragon and the other is a yellowmouth. I haven't been able to get him to eat. he scrapes the glass and rocks all day and ignores what I feed the other fish.
