Moving Green Star Polyps from glass to acrylic??
Hi guys,
I just removed some of my GSP's from the back glass of the tank and glued them to my overflow box...I attached a 6x6" piece with a few drops of glue...Its been 2 days and the polyps are extended, but will they reattach their footing to the acrylic?? Has anyone had any experience doing this? |

They will grow on anything, no worries.

I hope so, I felt a little guilty after, but figured they were growing like weeds, so worth the try! If they make it will be cool looking, to me anyway

I did the same thing with mine. I moved them from the back glass to the overflow . they attached back in about a week and are growing again. I am trying to get them to grow over the whole over flow. I think it will be cool looking too.

How do you remove the GSP from the glass? Do you just peel them off or you scrape them off with some tools?

Scrape and slice; peel and slice; whatever works best.
