What controller can I use with korallia pumps???
I was thinking of ordering the SEIO controller, they warn you that you void their warranty if the controller is used with other pumps than theirs, why is that???

I used mine with cheap lamp timers for around 6 months, then bought a ac jr a month ago and used this to control them (still made noise on startup, even w/ the softstart),as of last week I am now running mine a seio controller. I was a little dissapointed that the two plugs on the seio mirror each other, but so far so good.
BTW, I am running 2-#4's & 2-#3's with the seio. Two of the koralia's I've owned for over 7 months w/ three different timers and still running strong, other two I just bought within the last month. |

Don't waste your money on a Seio controller.
Get this for much less money. Its built like a tank, and will handle 4 Korallia #4s without blinking an eye. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...ler?sku=810111 |

The seio alternates flow by switching between 50% & 100% power, never shutting the powerhead off. The switching time can range from 15 seconds to 30 minutes.
To answer the question, no they do not make any noise, because they never shut off. |

They do, but the the timeperiod is too short for the fans to fully shut down. They definetly go lower than the seio's 50%.

Have you used this w/ the koralia's. I ask because when I used either the lamp timer or ac jr and the power was cut-off the propellar would stop almost instantly.

Do a search here on the forum. Many people use the T4.

Sweet do u have a link for this? My search doesn't work. If this works better then the seio controller would be big money saver!
So how does this t4 work? Does rotate the pumps in circle or what ever patterns u make? |
