What the heck is this critter i just noticed for the 1st time in my tank???
I was glancing over at my tank an noticed a unidentified critter slithering over my rock. I will try to describe it the best i can, it disappeared into the rock work before i could grab the camera. It was about 10-12 inches long and was the size of a pencil. It slithered like a really big worm. It was a pale tan/brown color. On each side of it , there was a row that look like feathers from its front all the way to its tail. It moved rather quickly, but wasnt swimming. It kinda just slithered over the rock, but did not suck like a snail would.
Ive had my tank now for about a year and a half and this totally was the craziest thing i seen in my tank so far. Does anyone know what this could be, if so can you tell me about it or direct me to some info on it. I remember there was a site that had all different types of critters and would describe them, but i can't remember it. Thanks in advance for the feedback!!! |

Bristleworm. Some say they're good detritovores, others say they get too big and can cause havoc. I've seen a few, maybe 6" long in my 12g, they come out at night and haven't bothered anything.
