whats worng with my damsel

I got home after being gone a couple days, fed my fish and saw that my damsel's eye is bulging out of its head. how could this have happened and what should I do. he was eating but I could tell he couldn't see very well. Any help?

Since it's only for one eye, I'd say he just bumped/scraped his eye on a rock in which case it'll heal on its own in time. Just give him clean water and good food.

It's called popeye: often caused by impact injury. He may lose sight in that eye, but it will probably heal. Google it and ask in the disease forum.

Salinity 1.024-6; alkalinity 8.3-9.3 on KH scale; calcium 420; magnesium 1300, temp 78-80, nitrate .2. Ammonia 0. No filters: lps tank. Alk and cal won't rise if mg is low.

Current Tank Info: 105g AquaVim wedge, yellow tang, sailfin blenny,royal gramma, ocellaris clown pair, yellow watchman, 100 microceriths, 25 tiny hermits, a 4" conch, 1" nassarius, recovering from 2 year hiatus with daily water change of 10%.

Glad to hear it will heal. My anthia has the same problem. Any idea how long it will take?
