question on filter floss

i've been thinking about using this in my sump but couldn't find any at the lfs. found some on marinedepot and saw some pictures of it.

it looks a lot like plain old cotton batting you can get at michaels or joanns fabric. is it the same thing? if so, i'll just go buy a huge bag of it.

the batting fabric is the same thing and is only like $9

my friends has used it for a long time and like it..it is cheap and it works

walmart has it for cheap too. thats what i use.

well there we go. just wanted to make sure it was the same stuff but if so, i'm buying the biggest bag they have!!!

I buy the one use for pillow sheet at the Fabric store, right next to Tong's at Fountain valley. 1 square yard about $3.
