Marine Aquarist Courses Online

http://www.aquaristcourses.org/

Does anyone know if these courses are actually worth anything?

At $75 a course, it seems reasonable, but not if the courses are lame, you know?

Well, I actully just found out about my local reefclub in Sacramento. MARS- the people are great and i have not even meet them in person. Plus the membership is only 25.00 per year. I would think you might be able to learn more from your local club, and hands on experience. For those that don't know where it is. Its in the forums page about 3/4 down "REEF CLUB FORUMS" there you can find your local REef Club.

While local reef clubs are bit off topic, lol, it is really odd. I live in a town with 3 colleges and I have yet to find a local club....

Sounds like a great reason to start one! Get a lfs involved to host meetings, they will be happy to get the extra business. You can do a seminar on DIY rocks!

I was looking at the courses also. Anyone out there actually completed any of them? One dealt with the microbiology of our tanks and was very interesting to me.

No one has taken these courses?
Anyone even know someone who has?
