reef fanatic level controller

I am in the market for an auto topoff and was wondering what everybody thought of this product. I am also looking for various ideas on how to use this incorporating kalk so if anyone can share it would be appreciated. Initially I was thinking a 5 gallon bucket with a maxijet 600 for the pump but I am always open to something different if its is ultimately better.
