Cloudy water due to algae bloom?

I was just wondering if its normal for my water to be this cloudy? I've heard of others getting cloudy also due to algae bloom and since im into my THIRD WEEK of cycling i would just like to make sure. If its not normal can anyone help me get rid of the cloudiness? Thanks.

It is far more common for bacteria to cause a "white water" bloom. They do that to consume soluble food in the water column. It lasts a few days and then goes away as the food is depleted. In an established tank such a bloom can deplete oxygen levels and cause stress. In a new tank it goes away without harm.

yep look like an algae bloom. If your running your lights turn them off for 3days, or 4days if youve nothing in the tank. You could also skim a little wetter but honestly the lights off on their own should do it!

I understand leaving the lights off will make it go away, but would it just continue once i turn the lights back on?
