a little help

whats up guys just a couple questions can anybody help. my two feather dusters heads came off thinking they died i grabbed them but i felt a bulge in the tube so i left them in the tank ,are they dead or i heard some people say they were stressed and theywill grow back another thing is my fish seem to be breathing fast but my water is good ph is good ammonia is good nitrite and nitrate r good.

I know that feather dusters will shed their crowns. Sometimes its because they are going to burrow deeper in the sand, somtimes they just feel like it. But dont worry most of the time the crown grows back larger.

For the fish breathing fast, you might want to check and see if you are getting enough Oxygenation.

Featherdusters often can grow a new crown, but they probably needed more food than they got. What's being fed for them?

I agree that oxygen might be the issue for the fish. Can you describe the setup? Circulation, fish, skimmer, etc?

Mine just did that I thought he was dead but within the week he has a newer bigger crown.

Current Tank Info: I have a 180 gal mostly LPS corals, it contains 1 Val. Tang, 1 yellow striped clown fish, 3 percula clownfish, a blood shrimp, cleaner shrimp and a sand shifting goby, 5 pajama cardinals, 1 green chromis. Also a 75 gal. sump/fug.

i have my tank in puerto rico maybe it was a temp spike. also i have a 90 gallon a wet and dry filter and a skimmer on my tank

the skimmer and the filter are both 4 a 90 gallon tank.
