Month 6 with my PFO H4 LED array

Just for those of you that are wondering how tank inhabitants feel about the new LED array lights...........

Now that the "sting" of spending so much on this unit has worn off I am really pleased with the results..........and the programmability of these units are unbelievable!

Everything looks great. I noticed in your sig you run a decent sized chiller. Isnt one of the advantages of led lighting not having to use one of these?

That's beautiful. I'm an early adopter and only have the G-series, thankfully my tank's only 8" deep. Glad to see continued success with these lighting systems.

The chiller is from the MH lighting days. It is still inline just in case but rarely turns on anymore.........

Way too much.........

I am in the computer industry and I will give the same advice that I give all my clients concerning new technology: don't pay for new technology unless you really want it and have the money.

The technology will mature and will come down dramatically in price.

But, once it does, LED lighting will drastically change the reef keeping industry!!!

That said, I am very glad i have this unit........the heat from the MHs was too much.

I spent $1800 on my 36" H series 2 months ago. I saved money on a chiller, plus I didn't have the space with it. It allowed me to get a bigger fuge and skimmer. So far things are great with it. Totally satisfied with PFO.
