can I swap a barb AGA megaflow bulkhead with a spa-flex bulkhead?

I'm switching from a tank that had spa-flex (flexable pvc) overflow connections to one with an AGA mega-flow barb-type bulk-head connectors. Is there a way to switch the AGA barb-bulkheads to one that will glue on to a flex-pvc type connection?

I had to buy new bulkheads because the inner diameter of the slip fittings is off from the OD of PVC. I bought slip/glue bulheads to replace the crappy barbed stock ones.
