base rock?

if i want to add base rock to an established? can i set up a small 10 gal with salt water a pump and heater. will coraline algae go on it and then put it into the tank.

I would add some rubble rock from main tank but yea it will grwo as long as water readings stay low. It will just take a little longer.

With a help of the good lights and some starter LR it will.
