FOWLR to mushrooms and soft corals lighting question
I have decided to introduce some soft corals and some mushrooms to my FOWLR. How long should I be leaving my lights on for? I have 2 fixtures with 2 96 watt lamps in each and a 4' fixture with 2 T5s. The T5s are both blue lights and the others have a blue and a white in each.

I don't see a problem running them 12hours a day. Waiting for more knowledgeable people to chime in though.

I have a 55g FOWLR that has Anthelia, Kenya Trees and all kinds of Mushrooms. I run two 2x65w 50/50 PC's for about 9 hrs a day and everything grows great.

I have VHOs over my FOWLR with some softies. I run the lights about 4.5 hours a day - from 6 PM to about 10:30 when I am home to see the fish.

I had been running the white lights for 6 hours and the blues for 8 hours. I just upped them to 8 and 10. I would rather run them less if it is ok.
