What type of worm?
I have these small cm long to 2 cm long worms all over he glass. They are not the orange kind of bristleworms, they have a white color similar to mini-brittlestars. They look like centipedes and have defined eyes.

my guess would be Nereid worms. could be Dorvilleids as well. Here is a link with some up close pics of both these and many more.

thank you, good site, I either think it is a dorvilleid, or whatever the one is at the bottom of the page above the egg mass pic. Any reason to be worried over any of these. It is the first I have seen them and they are in large numbers; the tank has been set up for about 3 months, so I imagine they have just started coming out of the liverock.

95% of the worms you will find in our systems are harmless. most are even beneficial to the tank. If they are dorvilleids the black part you see is their jaw. you can actually see them munching on algae when they feed. cool little worm that a lot of people pay attention to
