The so called LR to water ratio...
so most of u know already that it is 1 - 1.5lbs per gallon of water. i believe this to be true when the tank is stocked for that ammount of water also. (made up stuff here..lol ) now lets say i was to upgrade my current tank bc29 to say a 40 breeder. keeping the same ammount of livestock i currently have using the same rock, and just adding new sand. would i need to add more rock due to more water volume, or would i only need to have more rock if my bioload demands it?
cliffnotes. upgraded tank, same livestock, same ammount of rock, new sand. does one need to add more rock even tho the bioload never changed? |
