Filter question
1. Can I reuse activated carbon if I rinse it with boiling water ?
I know I can just go and buy new ones but I need to clean my canister filter and I am a long way from the nearest fish store. 2. I have two canister filters, one is a Rena XP3 and the other a small Eheim canister filter. I want to use the Rena as my filtration filter and the Eheim as a biological filter, only having crush rock and bio material inside. I have a 30G tank, does this sound like a good idea ? |
