Dip or QT tank

I am new to sps and I am going to only purchase ORA frags. I a worried about parasites getting into my tank and ruining my colonies. Now is dipping effective? Or would it be worth it to qt my corals. Would Prefer just to dip. But what happesn when you get a effected coral? Can you even treat it?

I prefer to quarantine my coral, especially when I have an existing batch of coral in my display. It's quite a task to rid your tank of problems. I think quarantining corals (and other livestock) is always safer than mere dipping.
