Retrofit kits in a canopy?

I was planning on doing a MH/PC retrofit kit on my tank. It came in today and of course, once I got my hands on it I'm noticing something that may be an issue.

The canopy has 8" of space between the TOP of the tank and the BOTTOM of the canopy. It's hinged and has 11" space from the BACK of the canopy to the hinge, and then 6.5" from the hinge to the front of the canopy.

Would I be able to put a set of PCs and the MHs on the 11" deep space and the other set of PCs on the front part of the canopy.

Right now my plan is to go with a Hamilton retrofit with 3 MH's, 2 PCs in back and 2 in front.

What size tank is it? I'm am going to be going with the 210 and was wondering the size inside the canopy to worth with. I know it says it has 8 inches from the top.

It's a 125. The tank is 18" deep - and the canopy leaves me with 16.5" because it sits on the tank. The 8" of space in the canopy is accurate - may even be more like 8.5" from the tank rim to the bottom of the canopy.

So whatever your 210 is, knock off 1.5" from the length and depth and that's how much space your canopy will have.

Hamilton 72" retrofit. 3x175w 10k's and 4x96w PC's from Custom Aquatics.

I talked with CA and they said that the entire fixture is about 9" deep and just a few inches high. HOPING to see them sometime next week.
