B-Ionic 2 part
I just bought some B-Ionic 2 part to dose in my reef until the calcium reactor is up and running. Now I have a quick question for anyone that uses it...
The directions say 1ml per 4 gallons of water...but is that for an SPS tank or a LPS reef? What if you have a LOT of sps and clams? Would you dose more? And is this dosed daily? |

You need to start with their dose, test, and adjust accordingly. It can be dosed daily or every other day demending on your demands> just test and you will find out!

Test your levels and determine the levels you want. Then go here:
http://home.comcast.net/~jdieck1/chem_calc3.html To determine how much you need to dose to reach your desired level. (click on "traditional"). You will then need to test daily to determine what your tank's daily uptake is of both calcium and Alk. The use the calculator to determine how much of part A and B you need to dose on a daily basis to maintain your desired levels.

Thats the way its done, I do believe that B-ionic is a stronger concentration than My homemade two part.

speaking of...your b ionic will probably last for a while...but consider a homemade 2 part as well if you continuing 2 parting it after your product runs out...ch4eck out reefvideos.com for a great diy video
