yes or no?
I am currently running a 125 softy, sumpless tank with a remora pro and slimmer box. It does pretty good but was thinking about adding tunze 9002 for a little extra support on the other side of the tank....Will this help or am I wasting my money. I can't do a sump and I cant afford a deltec.

I woulnd't say it's a total waste.
I run one of my 15G. Personally I wouldn't want a bigger tank for this skimmer. That being said, my LFS has one on a 75 and absolutely swears by it. If you're spending the cash I think a little extra money will get you a bigger skimmer for the tank. Unless you're worried about spaec. This thing is nice and small and quite out of the way.

Do you not have room for a sump? You can use another fish tank, rubbermaid container for one.

I think it would be a waste of your money. The basic question is what do you see in your tank to convince yourself that your current skimmer is not adequate? If your animals are doing well and your parameters are in check, why change anything?

I tend to agree with tydran if all is well I would leave it be.
(Depending on your bio-load) A 10% water change per week and you will not see much action if any in your skimmer. Lucky
