Removing scratches from an Acrylic Tank
I bought the novus scratch removal kit and am trying to remove some fairly large scratches from my tank. But it isnt really doign the job. Some minor scratches are coming out but the really big ones dont seem to want to budge.
Anyone have any ideas how to get them out? Several of these scratches can be felt with a fingernail and there are a couple that have deep grooves. Help please. Am I using this stuff wrong maybe? Is there a trick I dont know about?

It never says how deep it can remove. The #3 polish is called "Heavy Scratch Remover". It never says anywhere how deep of scratches that means. So I guess I dont know.

The deep grooves likely are permanent. If you're willing to do a lot of work, you can sand with 600 g abrasive paper and the refinish the surface using Micro-Mesh up to 20,000 grit. I'd advise sanding evenly across the entire face. I've done it. It's a lot of work.
