14k Reefstar HQI

Ok so finally got metal halides as a holiday present. As the title says, i got 2 14k 250watt reefstar hqi's from hamilton. First off i need to retrofit them in the canopy. It didnt come with screws so can i go to a hardware store and get some?

I would look for stainless screws.

I know the hieght limit is about 8 inches but i have to keep it lower.
