need advice before tomorrow:-)

Hi everybody,my friend just called me to tell me that he got for me 3 yellowhead jawfish a mated pair and a single and a green banded goby. Just have right now 1 ocellaris and 1 tomato but have a couple of inverts. (4 scarlet cleaner shrimps,3 peppermint shrimps,6 scarlet hermits,3 emerald crabs,2 turbos and 6 f.dusters) My question is the inverts count like the fishes when we are talking about overstocking the tank? I know that they are a bio load but count like the fishes? and can I add the fishes that i mentioned?

75gals,LR 120lbs,LS about 70lbs.
Thanks in advance guys.

I don't think you need to worry about the invert bio load, but that is a big stock of fish for a 75. Do you have lots of rock? Lots of LR and a good skimmer and proper water changes you should make it. Be careful of the tomato, if he is big and dominate, there could be some territory issues.

6 small fish on a 75 is a lot? I think you should be fine, unless like tapple said the tomoto starts to pick on the smaller fish (as he grows).

Expect some algae if you add all 4 at one time however, as you will be feeding a lot more and have a lot more waste than you have now, if you can add the pair, or all three then the other one or viceversa.

Can do on the amount of fish, as a matter of fact I would say you could add more to your detris pack or clean up crew. This is an example of a tank cleaner pack for a 75 gal. reef= Trochus Snail 20,Super Tongan Nassarius Snail 15 ,Cerith Snail 30 ,Scarlet Reef Hermit Crab 25 (http://www.liveaquaria.com/)

sounds to me like you only have about a 2" sandbed and IMO that isn't very deep for jawfish.

3 will be ok as they do well in colonies. but according to Scott W. Michael " It must have at least 3.1 in. (8cm) of mixed substrate, including sand of varying grades and small pieces of shell and/or reef rubble so that it can construct a burrow"

hope that helps
