help me with my clam...
I did a post lastnight about my clam...my green star polyp has grown to it, and it started to close up...its been closed now for a few days...Tonight when I get home im going to move the rock the clam is attatched to, and get it away from everything. How do I know if the clam is dead? I hope its not...I havnt gotten home yet to see what its done today...the wife said its closed up. What should I do?

Quote:
When a clam starts to die the mantel will receed in and the clam will literally fall apart. The foot will become detached and the inside of the clam will kind of melt away. if you can peel the GSP mat off the clam, it is irritating it and causing it to stay closed. |
