Revive coral cleaner
Hi guys,
I've read some links about Revive coral cleaner. I've read some threads that claim this kills AEFW. Has anyone used this product and had great results with it? |

I have been messing around with this stuff - it contains pine oil, a phenolic disinfectant which works as an endocrine disruptor. This is why it smells like pine-sol. Some interesting/boring reading:
http://epa.gov/oppsrrd1/REDs/pineoil_red.pdf From my basic observations, it will make monti eating flatworms release, and consequently die, but is ineffective on the eggs. I dipped some corals in Lugols and Revive, and will observe over the next week how they respond (color, ect..) I do not have any experince with AEFW (knock on wood), and hopefully will never have any data regarding that for you guys ![]() |
