Ideas needed for redoing tank
Ok I have a 29 gallon tank setup with currently a 10 gallon refuge. I just got another 29 gallon tank to be used as the refuge. I am gonna build a stand so they sit on top of eachother etc.
My question is, niether tank is drilled yet I want to drill one and put an overflow box in it. one tank is currently my display (want to disrupt as little as possible) but if i have the new (empty) tank drilled and overflow put in that would be the new display, so what is the best way to switch it out? I have heard people say dont touch the sand bed etc. Should I set it up as like a completely new tank and let it go thru its cycle? ANY ideas would be nice, thanks! |

As new tank and let it go through its cycle. To be on the safe side. I always like to error on the safe side, especially in this hobby. Corals tend to get expensive.
