How long to wait, before extracting a fish?
I have an Eibli Angel that seems to be picking at a new fuzzy lobo that I've put in my tank. It's funny, because the tank has other LPS in it, but it doesn't "seem" to be bothering any of the other LPS.
I rearranged some of the corals in the tank today and whenever I happen to glance at the tank, it seems to be swarming around it and picking at it. I'm curious how long people let this behavior continue before either removing the coral or the fish. I guess I'll add a poll as to whether you'd remove the coral or the fish.. Just for $%# and giggles.

You will probably ned to remove the fish. If you remove the coral he may just start picking at a different coral. You may wait a day or two how ever I don't think he will stop.

I had a trach in my tank on the bottom on the sand, no problem. Bought a Foxface and the fish started biting it. Moved the trach to a place on the rocks and the Foxface ignored it. Swam right past it. Try moving the coral.

I cut some slits in a plastic tupperware container and placed it over the coral as he was getting a little relentless with it. I don't have time to try and catch the fish at the moment, as we all know how taxing that is on our time and tanks.
Floodinator, that's interesting... Maybe I'll try and place the coral in the sand, as it's in the rocks right now.

After the foxface started ignoring the trach I tried moving it back to the sand and the foxface took less than a day to start biting it again. Maybe he just didn't like it there. Anyway, moved it back to the rocks and problem solved.
