Red Sea Berlin Skimmer Question???

I've done everything from opening the valve all the way to cleaning the ventui cone on the water outlet and it's only producing bubbles near the top of the skimmer. Anybody have any Ideas???help please it's fairly new in looks to be a great shape skimmer.
Thanks

when u take off the collection cup, if there is a gap when put your finger from the bottom of the cup. push the top and bottom together till the gap is closed. that closed a 1/2 inch on mine and increased skimmate. try that and maybe a ball valve.
