Has anyone used both 10k and 12k reeflux bulbs?

Has anyone used both 10k and 12k 250w se reeflux bulbs? I have used the 250w se 10k bulb on a icecap ballast and I like them but, I would like a little more blue. The par values for the 12k's are not very good but, I would like to find out from someone that has used them both to compare the growth and color they experienced with them.

I have used both I like the 12k's better, (250 watt MH SE) the blue is really intense for about the first 100 hours or so, then the white starts to show through. I will probably get them again.

I have been using a mix of 2 Reeflux 250W 12K’s and 2 XM 250W 10K’s for the over six months now in our 200 Gal SPS tank. I have not notice any reduction in growth of the coral and this combination brings out the color in the corals. The picture shows what it looks like.

I've used both the 10k & 12k reeflux bulbs. I prefer the 10k for the PAR and because I like a white bulb. The 12k is REALLY blue for the first few weeks, then becomes more white. It retains some of the blue color and does give nice coloration to the tank (espeically if you don' t have actinic supplementation). I didn't see any difference in growth between the two bulbs and since I don't really "need" the extra blue I'm back to the 10k bulb at this time.
