How does a calcium reactor work?
Hi guys,
i understand it maintains alk and calc but i dont understand how it doses and what the co2 does. is it possible to run a reactor without CO2? thanks |

CO2 is added to the reactor, which drives the pH down making the water acidic. This low pH dissolves reactor media which is slowly dripped into the water.
No, you cannot run a Ca reactor without CO2.
