Feather Stars (Stephanometra echinus)
Saw one in a LFS today. Kind of pretty. but I can't seem to find alot of info about them on the net. Anyone have any experience with them?> hardy? reef safe? they seem harmless but like anything else in this hobby who the hell knows!!! ????
thoughts? I'd like to grab it for my wife's B-day

They do terrible in captivity... they have very particular filter-feeding dietary needs and end up slowly starving in an aquarium.
