PC's or T5's

I am currently running two 48" 96w Power Compacts centered over a 125 gal. reef tank. I want to add more light to my tank, but have refrained due to the fact that the AC thermostat is right by the tank and I believe it already throws the AC off by about 5 degrees from the heat from the bulbs.

My brother-in-law is running a 40 gal reef with one 39w 10k and one 39w Actinic T5 fixture. He's got little stonies, clams, and everything you could imagine other than aquapora. I was thinking running 4 of those fixtures over my tank. It seems to work well with the reef and it would produce much less heat around the thermostat. Any thoughts?

I wouldnt trust using 4 of those fixtures over such a large tank. They are nice on smaller systems. Check out this fixture.

I will be adding one onto my 125g in the near future. It might be a little bit more money but I think it would be worth it. That fixture comes with 12 39w bulbs with individual reflectors.
