I have a 400w mh system. - Needing new lights
Hey guys,
I'm new, sorry for the stupid question. - Hopefully someone can direct me to the best place. I'm a budget shopper, always have been, always will be. I currently have 2 20k 400watt MH's in my tank. 1 burnt out. - I need to get new lights. I'm wondering if someone can direct me to a good place for some new light bulbs. - I'm currently running 20k with good results. - Its a bit blue and I know I can change k's to change the color, however I'm debating which k will grow soft corals the best. If you have had good luck with bulbs in your tank and know a good website or online vender please post up the names and maybe a good place to buy them. Again remember I'm a price shopper as well as a quality shopper... hopefully they wont be to expensive!

Online like Marine Depot or Champion Lighting are going to be a good place to start. The color you choose is more for you than the corals. Remember the spectrum of natural sunlight on a clear day at noon is 5000-5500 Kelvin, that's the spectrum the corals use.
