Gurgles
I have a "silent overflow skimmer" on my 180. About every 2 minutes it gurgles ( sounds like a shop vac sucking up Jell-O. There are two rigid tubes on the back side of the weir, sticking through the strainer which can be moved up or down. The instructions were useless, so any help would be appreciated. Also, there are tiny bubbles being returned to tank.

Problem solved?
HG,
Did you solve the noise problem? if you didn't, durso standpipes might help. Rich Durso, inventor has a build in this very forum: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...hreadid=868135 and some smart folks working on quieting down sumps here: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...readid=1293883 I haven't mastered the embedded links, but cut and paste. Otherwise, if you include a picture, we can help.
