Euro-Reef RS250 vs. Tunze DOC Protein Skimmer - 9015

I have been trying to decide what skimmer to get for the past couple of months. I have narrowed it down to these two. They are the same price. Anyone have experience with both? Anyone have a preferences or reasons for one over the other. I am looking to order in the morning and any help would be apreciated.

Thank you.

They are two very different skimmers. The RS250 is a much larger, much more powerful skimmer. What size system is this for?

The tunze says it is rated up to 350g dependant on bio load.

It will be going on my 125 display with about 360-400G total water volume system.

I use the RS-250 on my fish only 265gal. Its only been running for 3 weeks with only 1 fish in the tank. Love it so far and I use a euro reef on my 75gal reef with good results.

The ER is going to be much much nicer imo. They are really different types of skimmers. The tunze's are generally very nice to use if you have a very small footprint.

Both are nice skimmers. Of the two, I would go with the Euro Reef.
