RK2 Shutting Off?

Have a RK2 for about a month with no problems...this morning as the lights came on, it just shut off. Unplugged it and plugged it back in only to have the same thing happen. The channel lights just blink. Anuyone had this problem?

Looks like you have a blown fuse or a fuse is about to blow....don't quote me on this but I believe the max amps you can run through the RK2 is about 12. I purchased one a year ago and overdrove the system which caused my fuse to actually fuse to the unit. I needed to ship it back and they replace the entire socket assembly. I would take a look and see what you find.

It is deffinitely overloaded or if you start all the halides all at once, it overloads the unit.!!! make sure you plug the lights in socket 4 and 8, they have a relay that helps start metal halide and if you can start the bulbs at different times, that will help

Blinking lights mean the unit is letting the MH cool down to restart. This is cause by the lose of power somehow, was this happening before you unplug it?

If so maybe you are over loading your circuit in your house.
