Bugs in my tank?
This isn't entirely mantis related.. but i have a 30 gal tank
with 2 mantises in it.. and nothing else.. the mantises are unrelated.. but anyhow i was looking into my tank today and i noticed on the glass that things were moving around. i thought it might of been bugs or something on the outside of the tank..but upon further inspection.. it turns out that they are in the middle.. and there's a fair amount of them scurrying along the glass.. you wouldn't notice them unless u looked closely.. they are semi transparent.. and have legs and antenea.. they literally look like lil bugs.. can anyone help me out with what this is? |

hmmm i looked up both species and they don't look like them.. plus they are not free floating. they crawl around exclusively on the window of my tank... anyways .. if they are copepods or amphipods.. how did i get them and how do i get rid of them

i agree. you've probably got 'pods.
they're usually good (they are at the bottom of food chain so usually food for something else) |

More than likely from the brief description they are Tanaids.
