Dirty QT

My QT tank is pretty dirty. Every since adding a 2" purple tang the water has gotten more and more cloudy and green. I did a 30% water change over the weekend and am just completeing a 50% water change. I've cleaned the glass of algae but the situation has only mildly improved.

It looks as if the tang poop is disintegrating into tiny peices and floating all over the place. If that is the case I guess I can just set up a HOB filter to scoop some of it up.

I measure amonia and it was undetectable.
