New Tank light Brown Algae??
I just transfered contents of my 50 gallon tank into a new 75gallon tank 9 days ago. I put a new MH lighting fixture over the tank. I replaced the old argo sand bottom with new argonite. Skimmer is working fine. I used all ro/di water to fill remaining water. The sump/fuge is still the same stuff. The whole process of switching things over took about three to four hours. the temp of the water dropped below normal im sure. I have changed 10% water twice now. SG is about 1.26.
I am beggining to see a light brown coating on top of the argonite and on the glass. Can someone help me before it gets way out of hand |
