Pretty Cool Palm pic.

This is a date palm (Pheonix Dactylifera) that we recently bought and sold.

These palms grow around a foot per year and this one measured about 20ft so its almost two decades old.

The story was that it fell over in a storm and began to grow with a heavy curve. The grower then fliped it over some years later and then flipped it again.

Here's the result:

The home owner who bought it paid around 15K to purchase the tree and have it installed.

that's pretty sweet...but I'd use the $15K to start a really nice tank before I'd buy a tree

Which nursury do you work at and where is it? I've been going to the one on Hillsburough. And for the record I'm NOT looking for any 15K trees!!!
