this tank is 72 in long 24 in tall and 30 in deep 3/4in starfire glass right now it has two 175w mh and two 48in vho this lighting is just what was on my 75 and i plan to change to 3 250w mh and two 72in vho
or maybe 2 250s and one 400?? not sure right now i know i do want to at least attempt to avoid using a chiller i also plan to add a phosban reactor as well as a calcium reactor kicking around the idea of a remote deep sand bed but dont have any experience with this so im not sure if i want to do this |

Looks very good.
What's going on the the other stand? Is the stand for the 225g custom, it looks nice. Does you Leopard wrasse eat prep'ed food well?

i have been kicking around the idea of adding a remote deep sand bed
i was hoping to get some input on this as i have no experience with deep sand beds the display has about 1 1/2 of sand in it throughout so im thinking that this idea maybe pointless??? i was thinking of having the skimmer dump into a small sump i have laying around and filling it with about 6-8" of sand or mud as well as house the chaeato then feed it via gravity back into the sump which would be full of live rock rubble if it goes as planed there would be no pump and i believe i could eliminate the two korilas that are in the sump right now |
