What kind of bulbs and where should I get them? 250W

Hi,
I have 2 250W 20K XMs and like them but i need to replace them and just wanted to know what everyone else likes. I really like the blue and want to stay in the spectrum that the 20K Xm's are in. I also need to know where to buy them from.
Thank you,
Patrick

I really like the Phoenix 14k bulbs. Everyone says they're what a 20k should look like.

Have you tried the Radiums? A bit more expensive, but a nice bulb that a lot of people use. You need either an HQI or Electronic ballast to fire them though.

Yes, that's what they claim. They don't run as hot either. At least the ones I have do not. Lots of places sell the radiums. I've gotten mine from Aquarium Specialty who is a sponsor on here. Scott is a great guy to deal with.

While they do have a blue tint to them, they may not be quite as blue as the XM's. They are a 20k bulb though.

Here is a great site put together by another RC member that gives readings and pictures of his tank I think with the different bulbs.
