brown algae
I am having a large problem stopping my brown algae, tank has new bulbs, just did a large water change with ro/di. added a uv and still no luck stoping it.

new fixture, or just new bulbs? what light is it? and how long has the tank been set up?

its a 215, 2 250 reeflux, 1 250w phoenix , 6 t5 ho actinic been running a little over yr.

Post a picture and find out if it is Dictyota. If so see my thread on the macroalgae forum and we can work on it.

i had the same problem at one time when my tank was cycling, i turned the lights off for 3 days and it all went
