Whew
I came home this evening to find that due to my neighbor, the electricity in my house went out briefly 3 times this evening! Fortunately I am at the beginning/cycling part and have only LR & LS in my 12G & 24G nanocubes. It seems the 20G tank that I plan to phase out kept my clownfish alive (whew). I believe the loss of power was only a few minutes each, but I plan to have corals in my new nanocubes. Any suggested items for this type of possibility? Back-up pumps, generators? Please include specifics.

A few minutes without power isn't going to hurt anything.
A generator would be the best backup power source, but not everyone can have one. Remember corals can last for days without light, so you really don't need to run your lights if the power is only going to be out for a day or two. Just keep the powerheads, skimmer, and heaters going. A battery powered air pump is a cheap nice thing to have. |

How is you're neighbor affecting you're power?
