Quarantine Tank Water Changes???

I wanna set up a quarantine tank. i was gonna take the already cycled tank water from my main and fill up the quarantine tank...but what i wanna know is....when i make water changes to the quarantine tank...should i replace it with freshly mixed salwater or take water from the main tank and make the water change.....i only ask this b/c i wanted to limit having to acclimate the fish the main tank after being in the quarantine tank....or will the chemistry of the quarantine tank be the same as the main tank even if i use fresh saltwater for water changes....i know its sounds a little confusing...i think i even confused myself while typing this...but can anyone help me??? thanks.

If you make sure the salinity is the same in both tanks then it should be fine. But the other parameters may be different as the QT may be smaller. Oh ye i would make up new SW for water changes.

I always pull seasoned water from the display for my QT, in fact that's my primary driver of water changes. If I'm doing hyposalinity, I still pull from the main tank, then dilute with RO/DI to match the QT salinity.
