LED spotlight!
I was searching on ebay and found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/PAR38-CREE-LED-1...QQcmdZViewItem It has 12 x 1.25w bright white LEDs (total 15w) delivering 1120 lumens. The color temperature is 5000-5500K. There is no PAR/ppfd measurement provided, so obviously it would be hard to tell how well it could grow/assist growing corals. By chance does anyone have this? |

Hmm actually I just realized that blue LEDs must have a higher PAR output in general. At least that's the case with the Solaris.
Anyway, here is another from ebay with high powered blue LED spotlights. I think I'll go with these. http://cgi.ebay.com/High-Power-PAR38...QQcmdZViewItem

I didn't buy them yet. I'm going to wait until my system is set up before buying.
