tlf phos reactor problem help

i have a 24 gallon ap i got a two little fishies phosban reactor from pm. i also got some chem pure elite to run in it. i set it up purged the unit for a couple of minutes and them ran it in the tank. i look at the unit to find particals going through the top spung disk, so i turned it off and took it apart should i be worried about the media in that got in the tank, and do you guys feel that this should have worked,,,

Sounds like too much flow through the reactor. Resin media tends to be pretty buoyant; I have to dial back the flow through my Purigen reactor to a trickle and even then the media is rolling nicely. Do you have a ball valve you can install?

so you think i should dial the ball valve down on the maxijet 400,, i will have to give it another go arround,, you have purigen in that reactor? if you have that slow then i should be ok if i slow mine down i have purigen in a bag and i know that stuff is very small particals. thanks for the advice i will give it another try in the am.
