How many do you think? this isnt for me...My friend is with me right now and was just curious. He also has a 75 gallon tank
his fish are: -3 black and white clownfish - pajama cardinal - hippo tang - flame angel - longnose hawk - bi-color blenny - I dont think he has room for any more schooling fish especially, but we just wanted to check.

Cardinals should school, but usually only at night

I would say he could get away with a small school of chromis. 3-5 maybe.

Heniochis (spelling?) are one of the easiest of the Butterflys. They eat readily in captivity.

Bar gobies would do well in your 75g.

that guy doesn't need any more fish. He has plenty for a 75 gallon. I hope they are planning on upgrading when that hippo outgrows the tank soon.

I saw a thread saying that the chromis sometimes mysteriously die...

I've been reading about the chromis and planning to get some for my 75G as well. I read that they will eventually kill each other (not other fishes), is that true?

He's pretty full now, especially with the hippo tang. If he found a larger tank for the tang, he'd be in good shape to add some schooling fish.

Ceegee i also have a 38 and i have two perculas damsel, jawfish, and a sailfin which is qting in there for my new 90. AS for the schooling of fish i would either go with the cardinals or 3-4 chormis. I really dont think that you can do that many anthias in your 75 because of the stocking list so far. But he could try 2-3 and maybe get away with it.

I think anthias should only be kept in systems of 125 or larger, but that is just my opinion. I'd go with the chromis.
